Notice to Nampa Art Guild members. Chi Weston said we could bring other mediums than oils to work along with him at his workshop Feb 15th. I will be gone but I know that I will be missing a fantastic workshop! Hope you all will consider this news, as it could change your mind to attend. Contact Linda Hays our workshop coordinator.

I started going into the canyon in the 70’s before it became the NCA. I had never seen such a beautiful and mysterious place. I have walked from Swan falls to Celebration Park on both sides of the river, and camped all over up and down the canyon. I love the silence, the vast spaces, the rocks and the history of the place. I feel it is my home.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have created art my whole life. I studied art at BSU and with locally, internationally known teachers in oil painting and Chinese calligraphy. I combine very traditional techniques to create art that holds contemporary value. Paintings I am now working on: the Cliffs of the Boise River, Boulder fields of the NCA. And a series, Paleo Ruins of Hovenweap Utah. Currently showing my art in the Alaska Center in Boise on First Thursdays. I am a member of Oil Painters of America, International Miniatures Association, Plein Air Painters of Idaho, the Nampa Art Guild and American arts research institute.
